Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed therapist, coach, and experiential facilitator with over two decades of experience helping individuals, couples, and leaders move through anxiety, trauma, addiction, and relational challenges—not just through insight, but through real, embodied transformation.

My work is rooted in the understanding that while we are often wounded in relationship, we also heal in relationship. I integrate modern clinical training with experiential and somatic approaches, meaning our work together goes beyond traditional talk therapy. We focus on what’s happening in the moment—emotionally, relationally, and in the body—to create meaningful, lasting change.

I hold a Master’s degree in counseling and maintain credentials including LPC-MHSC, NCC, MAC, and CET III. I’ve spent my career working in both clinical and intensive settings, supporting clients through deep personal work as well as practical, real-life challenges.

I specialize in:

  • Trauma and emotional healing
  • Addiction and recovery
  • Shame and self-worth
  • Relationship and attachment patterns
  • Life transitions and personal growth

Clients who work with me are often ready for something deeper. They may feel stuck, disconnected, or aware that insight alone hasn’t created the change they’re looking for. Together, we create a space that is both grounded and challenging—where honesty, courage, and compassion can lead to real movement.

If you’re looking for a therapist who will meet you where you are, while also helping you move toward who you’re becoming, we may be a strong fit.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is experiential, relational, and grounded in both clinical training and real-world application. While insight is important, I believe meaningful change happens when we engage not just the mind, but also emotions, patterns, and the body.

In our work together, I pay close attention to what is happening in the present moment—how you relate, respond, and experience yourself and others. This allows us to move beyond simply talking about challenges and begin working with them in real time. I integrate elements of somatic awareness, attachment-based work, and experiential techniques to help clients access and process deeper emotional layers.

I tend to be active and engaged in sessions. At times I may gently challenge patterns that are keeping you stuck, while also creating a space that is grounded, supportive, and respectful of your pace. My goal is not just to help you cope, but to help you understand, shift, and transform the underlying dynamics driving your experience.

I often work with clients navigating trauma, addiction, shame, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Many of the people I work with are looking for something beyond traditional talk therapy—something more direct, embodied, and impactful.

At the core of my approach is the belief that change happens through awareness, honest exploration, and meaningful connection. Together, we create a space where you can explore what’s true for you, build resilience, and move toward a more aligned and fulfilling life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my primary focus is getting to know you—your story, what’s bringing you in, and what you’re hoping will change. We’ll explore both the immediate challenges you’re facing and the broader patterns or experiences that may be connected to them.

You can expect a space that is grounded, respectful, and engaged. I tend to be active in sessions, asking thoughtful questions and helping you begin to make connections rather than just gathering information. At the same time, there is no pressure to share more than you’re ready for—we move at a pace that feels appropriate for you.

Together, we’ll begin identifying clear goals for our work. For some, that might mean reducing anxiety or navigating a specific situation. For others, it may involve deeper work around relationships, trauma, or long-standing patterns. We’ll also talk about what kind of approach would best support you, so you have a sense of direction moving forward.

Many clients leave the first session with a clearer understanding of what’s been happening for them, along with an initial sense of relief, direction, or next steps.

Most importantly, the first session is an opportunity for both of us to see if it feels like a good fit. Feeling comfortable, understood, and able to do meaningful work together is essential—and we’ll take the time to assess that openly.
