Marcela Larrad

Hi, I’m Marcela Larrad. Originally from Madrid, Spain, I've been living in South Florida for the past four years. I hold a degree in English Language and Literature and a Master’s in Human Resources, and I spent a decade working in executive search within the pharmaceutical industry. A personal loss in my family due to cancer inspired me to volunteer with cancer patients under the guidance of a psychologist. This experience opened my eyes to the psychological, emotional, and social challenges faced by cancer patients and their families, and ignited my true passion: psychology, human behavior, and well-being. I went on to earn my B.S. in Psychology, followed by a Master’s in Clinical Psychology and another Master’s in Integrative Therapy, Attachment, and Trauma. As an intern in Madrid, I worked with a diverse range of clients as a therapist, emphasizing on attachment, trauma, and emotional well-being. For the past two years in the U.S., I have served as an Addiction Behavioral Consultant and therapist at the Health Care District of Palm Beach County. Currently part of the Headway team, I am eager to support individuals on their journey toward healing and personal growth.
