Great to meet you!

Hi I’m Marcela. Do you find yourself overthinking everything, struggling to trust people, or feeling disconnected from yourself—even when you know you want something different?

You may be experiencing the lasting effects of complex trauma or attachment wounds. I help adolescents and adults who are tired of repeating the same relationship patterns, people-pleasing, self-doubt, anxiety, and emotional cycles understand where these patterns come from and begin creating something different.

As an EMDR-trained therapist specializing in complex trauma and attachment, I provide a safe, compassionate space to process experiences that may still be impacting how you feel, think, and relate to yourself and others.

Together, we’ll work toward more than simply managing symptoms. We’ll work toward healing the underlying wounds, strengthening your sense of self, building healthier relationships, and helping you feel safer in your own life.

You don’t have to keep wondering, “Why am I like this?” There is a reason your mind and body learned these patterns—and with the right support, those patterns can change.

My approach to therapy

I believe healing begins with feeling safe, seen, and genuinely understood. My approach is person-centered and trauma-informed, with a strong focus on helping clients heal from complex trauma, attachment wounds, and relational experiences that may continue to affect how they see themselves and connect with others.

I integrate EMDR, attachment-based therapy, relational and betrayal trauma work, mindfulness, and child-centered approaches based on your individual needs and goals. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, we’ll work together to understand the experiences, beliefs, emotions, and protective patterns that have shaped the way you navigate yourself and your relationships.

My goal is to provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can be honest about what you’re experiencing without feeling like you have to have it all figured out. Through our work together, I’ll support you in processing what you’ve been through, developing a deeper understanding of yourself, building healthier relationship patterns, and creating a greater sense of safety and connection within yourself.

You don’t have to navigate your healing alone. Therapy can be a place where you finally feel heard, supported, and empowered to move forward.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session to be a welcoming, judgment-free space where they can share what brings them to therapy at their own pace. We’ll discuss your current concerns, relationships, history, and goals while beginning to identify patterns that may be connected to trauma or attachment wounds. I’ll answer any questions you have about therapy and/or EMDR, and together we’ll create a plan that feels safe, supportive, and aligned with your needs.
