Marcella Graziano

I earned an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University in 2014 and am licensed in North Carolina as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC #11096). My experience includes working with teens and women struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, OCD, relationship issues, anger management, life transitions, spiritual concerns, and holistic wellness. After working at an agency, I began a private practice in 2018 and transitioned into a group practice in 2021.

I am grounded in person-centered counseling, which emphasizes empathy, authenticity, and acceptance. I also often utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, CBT, and Psychodynamic Therapy. I have been trained in EMDR (levels 1 & 2) and utilize this trauma therapy technique when appropriate. Additionally, I am happy to offer Christian Counseling to clients who desire that perspective in their therapy.

I believe something very powerful happens when a person gives themselves the space to slow down, connect, and be vulnerable. This can result in living more authentically and fully--whether life is smooth or you're surrounded by pain and suffering. I believe emotional healing is possible and desire to help facilitate clients' processes as much as possible. Together, we will create and work towards positive, therapeutic goals with reasonable homework assignments in between sessions.
