Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania with 20 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with coping with grief and loss, the impact of a medical diagnosis and parenting issues. I have worked with children and families in a medical setting for over 20 years. I have also worked closely with individuals and families who have been touched by cancer. I believe in treating everyone with compassion and respect. I believe you are the expert of your life. We are all unique and have our own strengths.

My approach to therapy

My approach is client centered, strength based, and solution focused. I strongly believe that we all at some point in our lives need someone to talk to. When working with clients I work to make the experience respectful, safe and positive.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a relaxed, welcoming space where we begin getting to know each other. I understand that starting therapy can feel like a big step, so we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’re hoping to gain from our work together, and any concerns or questions you may have.

I’ll ask some gentle questions to better understand your experiences, background, and strengths, but there’s no pressure to share anything before you’re ready. This first session is also an opportunity for you to get a sense of my style and approach, and to decide if it feels like a good fit.
