Great to meet you!

I bring a wealth of life experience to my practice. I spent six years as a paramedic and five years as a missionary in South America, which taught me about resilience and compassion. For the past 13 years, I've worked in psychiatry, always focusing on understanding and empathy. I've faced my own ups and downs in life, experiencing unhealthy phases just like my patients. This shared journey helps me connect deeply with those I serve, fostering a genuine, supportive environment.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to care is rooted in empathy, understanding, and genuine human connection. I believe in meeting patients where they are, navigating difficult situations with compassion and composure. My diverse background fosters cultural sensitivity and resilience, allowing me to provide personalized, empathetic care. By prioritizing open dialogue and collaboration, I empower patients to confidently navigate their mental health journey toward healing and growth.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to leave sessions feeling empowered and educated, with a clear understanding of their mental health. They will learn how to manage their medications effectively and explore additional strategies to support their recovery. My goal is to provide the knowledge and tools needed for patients to take control of their mental health journey and achieve lasting well-being. Together, we will work towards faster recovery and a healthier future.
