Great to meet you!

I have been involved in healthcare since 2008 and became a registered nurse in 2013. I completed by Master's in Nursing in 2016 and became certified as an adult-gerontology nurse practitioner at that time. Later I decided to return to school and obtained a second certification as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner in 2024. My areas of interest include geriatric psychiatry, serious mental illness (SMI), treatment resistant depression, chronic pain, and general adult psychiatry.

My approach to therapy

I find it a privilege to help someone along their health journey. I know it can be hard to trust and share with a stranger so I find it helpful to take our time building a therapeutic relationship. I like to follow your lead and gently push when it is needed. At this time I am not able to prescribe stimulants for ADHD treatment.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really centered around getting a good mental health history, focusing on any difficulties and successes you have had in the past. Additionally, I want to understand what has led you to this point (in the short term) and what you hope to accomplish by seeing a provider.
