I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s degrees in Social Work (Clinical) from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Kean University. My experience includes working with children, adolescents, and families in an individual, family, and group therapy setting. Area of interest include ADHD, Anger management, Anxiety, Behavioral issues, Depression, Trauma and adjustment to life stressors.
The focus of therapy sessions is to create a brave space for individual to feel they can openly express themselves and achieve growth. Clinical interventions include proficency in utilizing motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, trauma-focused CBT, and family systems interventions.
“I want to keep you on my caseload forever, but then I won’t be a good therapist”, that’s the statement I want to say to you at the end of treatment, when you have achieved tapping into your inner strengths and accomplished your goals.
My approach in therapy is being your support to help guide you in a relaxed, empathetic, but challenging environment.
