Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome. Seeking support can feel overwhelming, especially when you're carrying stress, relationship difficulties, painful experiences, or major life changes that leave you feeling stuck or disconnected. With nearly 25 years of experience, I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults who are looking for a compassionate, nonjudgmental space to better understand themselves and move toward meaningful change. I help individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, grief and loss, stress, anger, panic disorders, relationship concerns, and the emotional challenges that can accompany chronic health conditions and end-of-life care. Many of the people I work with are navigating difficult transitions and searching for greater clarity, balance, and hope. My goal is to provide a warm and supportive environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to create a healthier and more fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and client centered. I believe healing begins with understanding yourself more deeply and developing practical tools that support lasting change. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Strength-Based Therapy, Relational Therapy, Problem Solving Therapy (PST), Psychoanalytic Therapy, Positive Psychology, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to tailor treatment to each individual's needs and goals. Together, we'll explore the thoughts, emotions, and patterns contributing to anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, and life transitions while developing healthier coping strategies and improving emotional well-being. Sessions are designed to be encouraging, supportive, and free from judgment. My goal is to help you gain greater self-awareness, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful changes that improve your relationships and overall quality of life.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a welcoming and supportive space where you are encouraged to ask questions, speak openly, and move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I understand that beginning therapy can feel difficult, and I strive to create an environment where you feel safe, heard, and respected. Together, we'll identify goals that are meaningful to you and work toward greater clarity, emotional balance, and personal growth. As therapy progresses, you may experience healthier relationships, improved coping skills, increased confidence, and a deeper understanding of yourself. My hope is that therapy helps you feel more empowered, connected, and equipped to navigate life's challenges with greater resilience and hope.
