Great to meet you!

If you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, substance use, or other mental health challenges, you don't have to navigate them alone. I'm a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Bachelor's degree from Loyola University Chicago and a Master's degree from the University of San Diego. My experience spans inpatient substance rehabilitation, rural community mental health centers, emergency psychiatric services, and outpatient psychiatry, giving me the opportunity to help individuals across the lifespan through many of life's most difficult moments. My goal is to help you better understand what's happening, regain a sense of control, and build a path toward lasting emotional wellness.

My approach to therapy

I believe the best treatment starts with listening. My approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and focused on keeping care practical, personalized, and easy to understand. Together, we'll review your history, previous treatments, medical concerns, and goals to develop a plan that fits your life. I believe in educating you about every treatment option, including medication and non-medication approaches, so you can make informed decisions with confidence. When appropriate, I also work closely with your other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know one another in a supportive, judgment-free environment. We'll talk about what brought you in, explore your current concerns and history, and discuss what you hope to achieve through treatment. I'll answer your questions, explain my recommendations, and work with you to create a clear, personalized plan so you leave feeling heard, informed, and confident about your next steps.
