Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Marcus, and I’m glad you’re here. If you're reading this, then you are most likely embarking on an important path to discovery. Thank you for considering me as a potential support on that journey!

I approach therapy from a strength-based, collaborative perspective. I believe every person—and every couple—has inherent resilience and untapped resources, even in the midst of overwhelming challenges. My role is to meet you exactly where you are, help you identify and build on your existing strengths, and support you in creating a life and relationships you feel genuinely excited about.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is a warm, authentic, and genuine human connection. I bring compassion, curiosity, and even humor into the room when appropriate, helping create an environment where you can show up fully as yourself.

I take a gentle but direct approach to self-discovery. That means I won’t push you faster than you’re ready to go—but I also won’t shy away from the conversations that lead to growth.

Drawing from approaches such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), TEAM-CBT (Level 1), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, I tailor treatment to your specific goals—whether that’s improving relationships, managing anxiety or depression, regulating intense emotions, or building a stronger sense of self.

I welcome teens, adults, and couples and provide telehealth sessions throughout California. My goal is to create a collaborative space where growth feels possible, progress feels tangible, and you feel supported every step of the way.

What you can expect from me

Therapeutic rapport is paramount to therapy that helps us grow and sustain. In our first session, I will do my best to create a safe, affirming environment grounded in warmth, authenticity, and curiosity where you feel genuinely seen and respected. Together, we will begin setting clear, meaningful goals focused on the concerns that brought you into therapy. My goal is for you to leave therapy feeling empowered, capable, and equipped to navigate life with greater confidence and clarity.
