I received my undergraduate degree from Brown. I transitioned into psychiatry from inpatient pulmonary and cardiac medicine as an ICU nurse for nearly a decade. Whether in my office, or in the ICU at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, I place primacy in human dignity, and it is the lens through which I view every patient-provider partnership.

Everyone can benefit from therapy. Many may find great benefit from medicine. Therapy is cornerstone to my practice, medicine or not.

I offer medication management, crisis management, and psychotherapy with extensive experience in anxiety/OCD, depression, mood disorders, attention deficit disorders, schizophrenia, and substance use disorders. I work primarily with adult populations, but have been trained across the lifespan, children/adolescents to geriatric.

Elyn Saks said the humanity we share is more important than the mental illnesses we may not, and this is the guiding principle of my practice, and cornerstone to my working relationship with you. Your success and happiness are rooted in a partnership that we share. You do the hard part of being vulnerable; to the best of my ability, I will work to listen to and understand you, before coming to a shared treatment plan.
