Great to meet you!

I am a licensed mental health therapist (LPC) based in Washington, DC. I am currently working with individuals suffering from depression, anxiety, relationship issues, self-esteem issues, and other mental health challenges. I obtained my bachelor’s degree from North Carolina Central University and masters from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. My goal is to guide individuals with understanding and processing their mental health challenges.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is person-centered. I believe my clients have the ability to find solutions to life's challenges and I encourage them to tap into their own inner resources. I provide a supportive, non-judgmental environment where my clients feel fully accepted and understood. By practicing active listening and empathy, I help my clients gain clarity and self-awareness.

What you can expect from our first session

My sessions create a safe space for clients to self-explore and develop new ways of thinking and behaving. The clients will progress towards becoming their best and most authentic selves. I collaborate with the client to set goals that are unique to their therapeutic needs. I provide clients with support, guidance, and encourage them to challenge themselves when appropriate.
