Great to meet you!

I'm a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who came to mental health care from a background in holistic health and wellness coaching. That background shapes how I work: I ask thorough questions, stay curious about the full picture, and bring a calm, steady presence to every session. I believe finding the right path forward starts with really listening. Whether you're working through anxiety, executive dysfunction, brain fog, burnout, depression, or trauma, I want to understand what's already been tried, what matters most to you, and where you want to go. Together, we'll build a plan that fits your life.

My approach to therapy

I believe health care works best when it starts with a real conversation. I take time to understand your history, your goals, and what hasn't worked before. I investigate symptoms that others may not (such as history of sensory sensitivities, past psychiatric diagnoses that never felt right to you, and complex trauma history that includes chronic unmet emotional needs in childhood). I ask a lot of questions because the answers matter, and I'll be straightforward with you about what I think, what I don't know, and what we can try together. Medication is one tool in the toolbelt of mental healthcare, and we will consider how we might apply many other tools- like diagnostic clarification, and how well your current living and working environments support your nervous system.

I prefer to schedule ongoing visits to allow for at least 30 minutes, and up to an hour, if you prefer. I will make sure you never feel rushed. My intention is for you to have time to experience safe, grounded presence, each time we meet. I want you to walk away from our visit feeling clear, calm, and curious about your next steps.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for me to hear your story from the beginning. I will first invite you to share as much or as little about what brought you to the appointment, and then guide you through a detailed review of your history, current symptoms, any medications you've tried, and what changed recently that gave you the courage to connect with a new provider.

By the time our initial session is complete, you'll have a solid sense of next steps and what working together will look like. It's likely that you will feel authentically supported, understood, and hopeful that you can enjoy a better tomorrow. If you choose to continue working with me, you will have recruited a new member into your personally curated support team; a team member who brings unique expertise, shedding light on potential options to optimize your quality of life that may previously have been hidden.
