Great to meet you!

Hello, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years of experience in providing therapy and social work services to individuals and families. I received my Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 1994 and Master of Social Work from University of Denver in 1997. I am strength based, direct, and collaborative with my clients in achieving their goals for therapy. I work with clients who struggle with the following: Anxiety, Depression, Anger, Bipolar Disorder, Self-Harm, Trauma, Chronic medical issues, Grief, Alternative Lifestyles, Sexual Orientation or Gender Identity.

My approach to therapy

I have a strength-based and collaborative approach when working with clients. I use an evidence-based approaches such as: Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialect Behavior Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy.

What you can expect from me

During the first session with me, I will go over client rights and expectations for both client and myself during our work together. I will take time to get know my client and learn what has led them to wanting to participate in therapy and what expectations they have for therapy. Lastly, if the client feels I am a good fit for them, we will then schedule a follow up appointment.
