Great to meet you!

Hello! Imagine yourself feeling calm, confident, having a sense of purpose, and emotional freedom. Together we can work together to help you get to this point. We will work on the areas that need attention together and help you identify goals as we develop your treatment plan together. I will use my forty-five years of experience in mental health nursing to lead you to your highest goals. I am a PMHNP-BC, a mother of three grown children a grandmother of three lovely granddaughters, and a pet mom to four fur-babies. Nature, and gardening are a hobby of mine, with an emphasis on the word "hobby".

My approach to therapy

I use motivational interviewing, which is a form of talk therapy, with the use of more concise therapy techniques. Medication management is also a potential therapeutic approach we can discuss and decide on together.

What you can expect from me

After our first meeting which will be mainly a fact-finding session, get to know each other and assessment with an initial treatment plan we work together to start. We will review goals and assignments, journaling if this is used. You should leave feeling supported and being helped. Growth can be painful and frustrating at times; however, growth always feels better on the other end.
