Great to meet you!

Welcome! My name is Dr. Margaret Burgess-Wright, and you have come to the right place. Maybe you are feeling bogged down by the stressors of life. Perhaps your personal or professional relationships are strained. Or, are you one of the millions in the throes of loneliness? Whatever your situation, know it doesn't have to be this way. There is a path that can lead you to the person you want to be. It would be an honor to walk with you on this journey. I've got you.

A bit about my approach to therapy

You may have gathered by now that I’m not your typical counselor. You would be correct. With a background in music therapy, school counseling, and counselor education, I see and understand what others may not even recognize. I have unique methods such as music, creativity, strength finding, and solution discovery. I know, it sounds refreshing, doesn't it?

What you can expect from our first session

When we speak, you will notice several things: 1) I will be asking a lot of questions. Why? Because I want to understand the details of your experience 2) Our sessions will focus on the future and who you want to be. 3) I often create drawings, maps, and flow charts when speaking to clients. You will absolutely get a copy! 4) Music is always an option if it is important to you.
