Great to meet you!

I am a licensed mental health professional in Texas with 36 years of experience, specializing in trauma, abuse, grief, depression, and compassion fatigue. I offer a safe, judgment-free space for clients of all ages, including individuals, couples, and the LGBTQ+ community. My therapeutic approach includes EMDR, mindfulness, RET, and Imago, making support accessible for all. I am here to help you navigate life's challenges and find joy and peace.

My approach to therapy

I use various therapeutic techniques, including EMDR, Rational Emotive Therapy (RET), Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to support clients in their healing. EMDR is a proven, evidence-based method developed over 30 years ago to help process trauma. Clients revisit distressing memories while engaging in bilateral stimulation (e.g., eye movements or tapping), helping reduce the memory's intensity and replace it with positive associations.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients discuss their situation and expectations for therapy. I encourage questions about my techniques, experience, and approach. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to share their concerns. I focus on active listening and use evidence-based techniques to support emotional health. I am committed to ongoing learning and refining my skills to provide the best care possible.
