Great to meet you!

I have been a LCSW for 12+ years and have worked in different settings with children, teens, and adults. I work with straight and queer identified individuals and couples addressing depression, anxiety, self-esteem, trauma, life transitions, infertility, grief and loss. I specialize in working with clients seeking a greater understanding of themselves, particularly in areas of gender and sexuality. After enduring a cancer "journey" of my own, I find joy in helping cancer patients through theirs.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is strengths-based, caring and collaborative. My work begins with recognizing my role as one to listen and empower. I often incorporate techniques from solution-focused, narrative, cognitive behavioral, EMDR and elements of mindfulness and self-compassion. People I work with have described me as warm, sincere, non-judgmental, and funny.

What you can expect from me

Talking to a therapist can help you gain a better understanding of yourself and to manage life’s challenges. Together we can work toward uncovering your own strengths and find your natural coping skills.

I am a Certified Financial Social Worker that works with clients experiencing financial related problems, stress, and anxiety.

I am a LCSW- Qualified Supervisor and provide supplemental supervision services for Florida RCSWI.
