Great to meet you!

I am a deeply compassionate therapist with over 27 years of experience helping teens, adults, and older adults from all walks of life. Holding both an LMHC and a Master’s degree in Social Work, my core belief is that you are the ultimate expert on your own life. You are the only one who has walked in your shoes, so I do not show up as a rigid authority figure. Instead, I bring a nonjudgmental, deeply respectful presence to our work, creating a space where you feel safe, supported, and empowered to move toward where you want to go.

I support clients navigating substance use and addiction, anxiety, depression, family issues, relationship challenges, trauma, PTSD, stress, grief and loss, mood concerns, and life transitions. Whether we meet individually, as a couple, or as a family, my goal is to help you feel understood while working together toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, strength-based, and deeply holistic, meaning I honor the connection between your mind, body, relationships, and overall life experience. I blend evidence-based techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you reframe negative thought patterns with mindfulness practices that help keep you grounded in the present moment.

I also draw from Emotion-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Family Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Relational Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and strength-based approaches. By tailoring these tools to your unique personality and needs, we work together to tap into your innate resilience, build positive coping strategies, strengthen communication, and uncover the strengths you already possess so you can continue moving forward with greater confidence and clarity.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, supportive, and relaxing environment designed to help you feel safe and comfortable. We will move at your own pace, using this initial time to get to know each other and talk about what brings you to therapy. There is no pressure to have everything figured out.

We will simply look at your current challenges, explore what has or has not helped in the past, and begin collaborating on a plan that aligns with your personal goals. Over time, our work may help you manage stress, reduce anxiety or depression symptoms, improve relationships, strengthen coping skills, and feel more grounded in yourself and your next steps.
