Great to meet you!

I’m a psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges and transitions. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and client-centered, creating a safe space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported.

I draw from evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT, psychodynamic therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy, tailoring treatment to your unique needs and goals. I believe that even during difficult seasons, meaningful change is possible, and you don’t have to navigate those challenges alone. My goal is to support you in developing greater insight, effective coping skills, and a more fulfilling and purposeful life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized. I create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and respected. I tailor treatment to each person’s developmental level, needs, strengths, and goals, recognizing that children and adolescents may express and process emotions differently than adults.

When working with children and adolescents, I address challenging behaviors by exploring the underlying emotions, needs, environmental factors, and patterns that may contribute to those behaviors. When appropriate, I collaborate with parents, caregivers, schools, and other community supports to promote consistency and reinforce positive strategies across the settings where a child lives, learns, and grows.

I integrate CBT, ACT, psychodynamic therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused techniques to build emotional awareness, coping skills, resilience, and confidence. My goal is to meet each client where they are and work together toward meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where we begin getting to know one another. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, strengths, and goals for treatment. I’ll take time to understand your unique experiences and what you hope to gain from therapy.

There is no expectation that you have everything figured out from the start. We’ll work together at a pace that feels comfortable for you and begin identifying approaches and strategies that best support your needs. My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the work ahead.
