Great to meet you!

You don't have to start over every time you walk into a therapist's office. I work with adults from college age through mid-life who are moving through grief, navigating a life transition, or finally ready to do something about the thing they've been sitting with. Some clients come in with a clear goal and a timeline. Others just need room to figure it out. Both are welcome here. I've spent years in hospital settings and teaching graduate therapy theory, and I bring that depth without the "I'm the expert" energy.

My approach to therapy

My foundation is humanistic, but I don't use just one approach. After years of teaching graduate-level theories, I've gotten good at knowing which tools fit which situations. For someone working through grief, that looks different than it does for someone with autism or someone questioning everything about their life at once. I tailor the work to you, not the other way around. Warm, collaborative, and direct when it matters.

What you can expect from me

I come in like I already know you. If you've told your story a dozen times, we pick up from where you are, not the beginning. First session is simple: what's going on, what brought you here, what do you want to change. No pressure to have the right words.
