Great to meet you!

Being a responsible adult and managing all the demands of your day to day life can take a toll on your energy and mood. Many of us, even those who “should be OK, and have it all” get by with a bare minimum of reserve and just function or survive. I want to help you get to “thrive”, to free up that energy that is locked in the past, in the stories we tell ourselves that are not updated with our strengths and growth, and our difficulties and traumas. This will allow you be more present in the day to day and have a fuller, more joyful life.

My approach to therapy

As a therapist, I often liken my approach to “snorkeling”, for example when you need to get things in order or want short term solution focused therapy. Or we can go “scuba diving”, for example, looking into your history, roots, family and past experiences. Or we can do both, depending on what you need at the time.

What you can expect from me

Understanding the why’s, the patterns and dynamics we have with ourselves and others can help us better face day-to-day challenges. I want to support you, listen, and create a safe environment where you can fully be you and move towards the you, you want to become. Tools that I can use include EMDR (EMDRIA Certified),Art therapy, and being bilingual.
