Margarita Garcia, Psy.D. a licensed psychologist. I have experience working with couples and adults. I aim to provide a client-centered, empathetic, and non-judgmental environment. I tailor therapy to the unique needs of each client, based on the problem, goals, and the individual's expectations and motivations. I have experience treating an array of diagnoses including depression, anxiety and other mood disorders, personality disorders, and psychotic-related disorders.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and integrates components from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and Solution-Focused therapy. I also offer an advanced brain-body therapy- Brainspotting, a form of therapy that assists patients with processing difficult emotions or traumatic experiences.
