Great to meet you!
You've been carrying a lot — and you've probably been doing it alone for longer than
you'd like to admit. Maybe it's anxiety that follows you into every room, grief that
never fully lifted, the exhaustion of new motherhood, or trauma that keeps finding its
way back. Whatever brought you here, you don't have to untangle it by yourself.
I'm Rita Sionova, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 19 years of experience
working with adults, adolescents, and families across New York. I specialize in
trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, maternal mental health, and the kind of life
transitions that reshape everything you thought you knew about yourself. My
background spans healthcare, legal, and educational settings — which means I
understand the full weight of the real-world pressures, not just the clinical picture.
I offer therapy in both English and Russian, and I provide culturally responsive
care for clients navigating immigrant experiences, generational patterns, and the
particular challenges that come with living between two worlds. All sessions are via
tele-health, available to clients across New York State.
