Hello, and welcome. I'm Margo Ferrin, a License Psychotherapist with 26 years of experiencine helping individual navigate life's challenges and transitions

I believe that reaching out for therapy can be an important first step towards feeling better, gaining clarity, and creating positive change. My approach is warm, compassionate, and individualized. I want my clients to feel comfortable being themselves and know that they are entering a space where they will be heard, respected, and never judge.

Throughout my years of practice, I have had the opportunity to work with people from diverse backgrounds, and at many different stages of life. I truly value getting to know each person's unique story and working together to identify the goals that are most meaningful to them

My approach to therapy is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I believe Therapy should be a safe place where you can be yourself, speak openly, and feel heard and understood without judgment.

I take the time to understand each clients, unique experiences, strengths, challenges, and goals. I don't believe there is a one size fits all approach to therapy, so I tailor my work to meet each individual where they are and help them move towards where they want to be.

Together, we work to better understand the thoughts, emotions, relationships, and patterns that may be affecting your life. I also focus on developing practical strategies and coping skills that you can use outside of the therapy session.

I believe, meaningful change, happens through a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, honesty, and collaboration. My goal is to not simply to help you get through a difficult period, but to help you gain, great self-awareness, confidence, and the tools to navigate life challenges, moving forward.

Starting therapy can feel a little uncomfortable or uncertain, especially if you have never been in Therapy before. My goal is to make the process feel comfortable, welcoming, and non-judgemental from the very beginning.

During our first session, we will spend time getting to know one another and discuss what brought you to therapy. I will listen to your concerns, learn about your experiences, and what is happening in your life, and begin to understand what you would like to accomplish through therapy.

Together we will identify goals that are meaningful and realistic for you. Depending on your needs, these may include improving your relationship, managing stress, or anxiety, navigating a life transition, building confidence, improving communication, or developing healthier ways of coping with challenges

I don't expect you to have everything figured out when you walk through the door. We will take the process at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My role is to provide a safe and supportive environment, where you can be honest, explore difficult feelings, gain insight, recognize your strengths, and begin making meaningful changes.

By the end of our initial session, my hope is that you will have a clearer understanding of what you want.
