A proud University of Central Florida graduate with a Master of Social Work, I have had a professional focus in various fields, including, child welfare, community mental health, the school system and intensive outpatient therapy. Much of this work has been centered on empowering youth, adults and families from diverse backgrounds and abilities. I currently work with children and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and life transitions.
I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where they can show up exactly as they are. I take a collaborative, strengths-based approach to therapy and believe that clients are the experts on their own lives. I draw from evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Trauma-Focused CBT, to tailor treatment to each client’s needs. My role is to help you gain insight, build practical coping skills, and move toward goals that feel meaningful to you. I value authenticity, compassion, and humor when appropriate, and I tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs.
Your first session is a chance to connect, ask questions, and begin shaping what you want out of therapy. We’ll talk through what brings you to this space, set initial goals, and make sure therapy feels like a good fit. I strive to create a supportive, collaborative environment so clients feel understood and hopeful about the process. My goal is for clients to leave the session feeling heard, supported, and clear on next steps.
