Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Marguerite. I am a holistic, somatic, and trauma-informed therapist based in Los Angeles. I support individuals in getting unstuck, reconnecting with themselves, and creating greater ease, alignment, and joy in their lives. My approach is anti-oppressive, compassionate, grounded, and direct, offering a warm and affirming space for meaningful healing and growth.

I integrate DBT, somatic practices, and mindfulness to help clients strengthen emotional regulation, self-compassion, boundaries, and interpersonal effectiveness while navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. My work is collaborative and empowering, supporting clients in building a life that feels more balanced, connected, and aligned. I identify as a Black woman and Afro-Latina. Having lived in Guatemala, Spain, and Costa Rica, I bring a deep appreciation for how culture, identity, family systems, and social environments shape emotional well-being.

My approach to therapy

I integrate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), somatic practices, and mindfulness to help clients explore root concerns and barriers to change while strengthening emotional regulation, boundaries, and interpersonal effectiveness skills. My approach is culturally responsive, justice-oriented, and anti-oppressive, recognizing how systems of oppression, racial stress, and intergenerational experiences impact mental health and relationships.

I support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, serious mental illness, and major life transitions, as well as co-parenting, dating, marriage, single parenthood, and relationship concerns. Together, we explore patterns with curiosity and compassion, building practical tools that support resilience, self-trust, and meaningful, sustainable change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we begin with gentle somatic grounding practices to help you feel present, safe, and supported. Together, we explore what is bringing you to therapy while identifying patterns, barriers to change, and areas where you may feel stuck or overwhelmed. We also begin clarifying goals and priorities for care, supporting greater ease and movement toward creating a life worth living. Clients can expect a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where they can share openly at their own pace. I integrate DBT-informed tools such as mindfulness, emotional regulation, self-compassion, and communication skills to support meaningful growth. My intention is to create an affirming environment where you feel heard, empowered, and supported in cultivating balance, joy, and overall well-being.
