Great to meet you!

I am a doctoral-level mental health clinician with advanced training in evidence-based psychotherapy. I take a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental approach, creating a safe space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes.

My work is grounded in science while remaining deeply human. I help clients understand the root causes of their challenges, develop practical coping skills, and build long-term emotional resilience. I believe therapy works best when it is individualized, goal-oriented, and aligned with each client’s values and life circumstances.

Clients often describe me as compassionate, attentive, and direct in a supportive way. I value transparency in the therapeutic process and work alongside clients to track progress and adjust treatment as needed.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based. I work with clients to understand not only their symptoms, but the underlying patterns and experiences contributing to their concerns. Therapy is tailored to each individual, with clear goals and practical strategies that support meaningful, lasting change.

I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and respected. Sessions often balance insight, skill-building, and emotional processing, helping clients develop tools they can use both in and outside of therapy. I also believe in transparency and regularly check in to ensure therapy is aligned with each client’s needs and progress.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a supportive and welcoming space where we focus on understanding what brings them to therapy and what they hope to gain from it. I will ask questions about current concerns, relevant history, and any past therapy experiences, while also making sure clients feel comfortable sharing at their own pace.

We will discuss goals for therapy, review confidentiality and the therapy process, and begin identifying next steps tailored to the client’s needs. The first session is also an opportunity for clients to ask questions and get a sense of my approach and whether it feels like a good fit. By the end of the session, clients typically leave with a clearer understanding of how therapy can help and what our work together may look like moving forward.
