Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Maria Anguiano. I work mostly with individuals and families who have experienced trauma, or who are experiencing family related issues. I value empowering my clients, while holding space for the pain that is present. When working with clients, I prioritize providing a safe and accepting space. I also want to help empower people through knowledge; the more we know about what is going on with us, the less scary it becomes.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I specialize in working with trauma, as well as supporting individuals who have been diagnosed (or would like to be assessed) with ADHD. I use a strength based approach and I like to remind people of their strengths and what they are capable of.

Instead of sticking to one specific approach for every client, my therapy style is unique for every client. You and I will talk about what approach will work best with you.

What you can expect from our first session

Individuals who work with me can expect to feel safe as well as empowered to reach their full potential. As a therapist, I create safety with clients through consistency, being open and non judgmental, and having a warm demeanor.

Maria's style is

Open-minded
Warm
