Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified psychiatrist with over 40 years of experience treating adults with mood disorders, PTSD, trauma, and substance use disorders — including opioid use disorder. I trained at Wayne State University and have worked in VA, hospital, community mental health, and outpatient settings. I am fluent in both English and Spanish and have a long-standing commitment to serving Latino and underserved communities. I am the founder of Arrubla Psychiatry PLLC in Williamsburg, MA.

My approach to therapy

I take an integrated approach, combining medication management with psychotherapy tailored to each person's needs. I believe in building a trusting, collaborative relationship with my patients. My care is trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and grounded in decades of clinical experience across diverse populations.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation where I take time to truly listen — to your history, your concerns, and your goals. Together we will develop a personalized treatment plan. You can expect to be heard without judgment, and to leave with a clear understanding of next steps.
