Great to meet you!

My name is Maria Camacho, and I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I provide compassionate, evidence-based care for adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, substance use concerns, and other mental health conditions. I strive to create a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard, understood, and actively involved in their treatment plan.

My approach to therapy

I believe mental health care should be individualized, compassionate, and collaborative. My approach combines medication management, supportive therapy, psychoeducation, and practical coping strategies to help patients improve overall functioning and quality of life.

I strive to create a safe and welcoming space where patients can openly discuss their concerns while working together toward meaningful and sustainable progress.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where we will discuss current concerns, symptoms, mental health history, goals for treatment, and overall well-being. Patients will have the opportunity to actively participate in developing an individualized treatment plan that may include medication management, supportive therapy, coping strategies, and education tailored to their specific needs.
