Great to meet you!

Great to meet you!

As a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor with a Doctorate in Counseling and more than 20 years of clinical experience, I believe that feeling understood, respected, and supported is an important part of meaningful change. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the emotional impact of difficult experiences. My approach is warm, culturally responsive, and practical, combining evidence-based strategies with genuine connection and understanding. My goal is to create a safe space where you can feel comfortable being yourself, gain insight, and develop tools that support greater balance and well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach

I believe every person has a unique story, and therapy should be as individual as the person seeking support. If we decide to work together, we’ll approach your therapeutic journey as partners, with open communication, mutual respect, and trust at the center of our work. I’ll listen without judgment, help you explore patterns and experiences that may be affecting your well-being, and gently challenge you when it can support meaningful growth. My goal is for you to feel heard, respected, and empowered as we work together toward greater clarity, balance, and emotional well-being.

What you can expect from me

From our first session, you can expect a warm, respectful, and judgment-free environment where you can begin to feel comfortable being yourself. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you hope to change, and what you would like support with at this point in your life. I’ll take the time to understand your story, your strengths, and the experiences that have shaped you, while beginning to identify practical goals for our work together. Most importantly, you don’t have to have everything figured out before we begin—we’ll take it one step at a time, together.
