Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual, culturally responsive, and experienced therapist dedicated to empowering individuals to live their most authentic lives. I have dedicated my career to mental health, behavioral wellness, and nonprofit work. I recognized a significant gap in mental health support within my community and became inspired to pursue a Master of Social Work degree at Fordham University.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am passionate about providing evidence-based care and continuously expand my expertise. I have advanced training in modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Additionally, I have specialized experience supporting those with anxiety, mood disorders, navigating adult life as adult children of immature parents, and neurodivergent populations. I also work with those who identify themselves as part of Latinx, and migrant communities.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is eclectic, compassionate, and client centered. My primary goal is to empower you to feel better about who you are by providing you a safe place to realize and achieve the most authentic version of yourself.

My therapeutic style has been known to empower individuals to reach their full potential. Common goals clients achieve in therapy with me include:

  • Making positive, healthy changes in behavior increasing desirable outcomes.
  • Addressing root causes of stress and difficult emotions to regain control of our behavior.
  • Improving communication of feelings, wants, and needs.

What you can expect from our first session

During our first session we will review the details you provided in your intake, review your experienced symptoms/needs/strengths, and discuss our plan for future sessions. You are also encouraged to ask questions, ask for clarity, and speak about anything on your mind. I meet you where you are in your life journey and encourage you to move at a pace that is comfortable for you.
