Great to meet you!

I am a second-generation Mexican American, bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist with over 14 years of experience in behavioral health. I founded CV Therapy with a commitment to expanding access to compassionate, culturally responsive mental health care within in my community and beyond. I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, relationship and parenting challenges, chronic illness, trauma, emotional abuse, and compassion fatigue, creating a supportive space where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered.

My approach to therapy

My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused and client-centered counseling. I will engage you in the process of developing a treatment plan that is driven by your particular needs.

What you can expect from me

Seeking therapy can feel challenging, and my goal is to provide a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and supported. During your first appointment, we will get to know one another, discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your concerns and goals, and review relevant aspects of your personal and mental health history. We will also discuss what you can expect from therapy, answer any questions you may have, and begin creating a treatment approach that feels comfortable and meaningful to you.
