Great to meet you!

I have been a LMFT for 22 years. I am not the kind of therapist that tells my clients how to live their lives. I work with my clients to come up with suggestions and options that fit for them. I will use IFS treatment modality when a client is willing to try it. I have worked in Drug and Alcohol rehabilitation and prevention for 6-8 years of my career. I enjoy being a therapist and spend time keeping up on current treatment modalities.

My approach to therapy

I use Family Systems mostly, esp IFS : Internal Family Systems.

What you can expect from me

Hopefully clients will take away a new perspective on their issue(s) and ways to deal with that issue(s) that fits for them. In our first session, I like to ask client what goals they might have for therapy and get to know them a bit. I can help the client develop goals in the first session as well, after discussing the issue or issues they would like to work on.
