Great to meet you!

My name is Carmen and I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas. I graduated from Divine Mercy University with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with additional training in trauma and resiliency with the Green Cross Academy of Traumatology. All of this to say, that I have a passion for working with individuals in need of hope, encouragement to weather the difficulties they have faced.

I have worked with young children in the school system, teens in the justice system, and individuals of all walks of life seeking healing and growth.

A bit about my approach to therapy

There is no instant solution to life’s challenges, but we can set intentional goals toward a healthier, more fulfilling life. Using a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach, I help you build resilience. I offer support, encouragement, and accountability every step of the way as you gain confidence in yourself.

What you can expect from our first session

You can expect to enter a place of safety where you are heard, seen, and understood. This is a judgment-free zone filled with warmth, compassion, and take steps towards getting to the root cause of issues, instead of just addressing the symptoms. I will walk with you at every step of the way, ready and willing to journey with you on this path of self-discovery.
