Great to meet you!

Carmen Castrejon is a bilingual Catholic-Christian Licensed Professional Counselor at Live Your Best Life Counseling. A native of the Rio Grande Valley, Carmen has dedicated her life to service, leadership, and healing in the communities she serves. Before entering the clinical field, Carmen spent several years traveling the world as a missionary with Corazon Puro. Motivated by a deep desire to support others through life’s most difficult challenges, she earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Divine Mercy University and became a Certified Clinical Traumatologist through the Green Cross Academy of Traumatology.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Carmen is passionate about empowering teens, adults, couples, and families to discover their God-given strengths and resiliencies. Her integrative approach to counseling honors the connection between mind, body, and soul, offering holistic healing that aligns with each client’s unique spiritual and emotional journey.

What you can expect from our first session

You can expect to enter a place of safety where you are heard, seen, and understood. This is a judgment-free zone filled with warmth, compassion, and take steps towards getting to the root cause of issues, instead of just addressing the symptoms. I will walk with you at every step of the way, ready and willing to journey with you on this path of self-discovery.
