Great to meet you!

I’m a bilingual, bicultural licensed psychologist who brings warmth, curiosity, and genuine care to every session. I take the time to understand you as a whole person—not just the symptoms that brought you to therapy. Together, we explore the patterns, relationships, and experiences that shape how you feel and respond today, including how some of these patterns may have developed as ways of coping or protecting yourself.

My approach combines deeper understanding with practical tools to help you manage difficult emotions and stress. I help individuals and couples recognize patterns they may not have noticed before, understand where their struggles come from, and begin responding in new ways that feel more natural and lasting. I offer therapy in English and Spanish and pay close attention to how culture, family, identity, and life experiences shape the way you see yourself and your relationships. I work with concerns including trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions.

My approach to therapy

My work is grounded in psychodynamic with a strong relational focus. I believe the relationship we build in therapy is an important part of the work and can help us understand how you experience yourself and connect with others.

I also integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and EMDR based on each client’s needs. With couples, I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help partners recognize recurring cycles and build a stronger emotional connection. Rather than following one fixed model, I bring these approaches together thoughtfully and individually.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a space for us to begin getting to know one another and understand what brings you to therapy at this point in your life. We will explore your current concerns, relevant history, relational experiences and patterns, and your goals for treatment. I may begin helping you make connections between past and present while giving you space to ask questions. You do not need to have everything figured out or share more than feels comfortable.
