Great to meet you!

You may be carrying the weight of past experiences, feeling overwhelmed by stress, or finding it difficult to navigate anxiety, depression, or relationship challenges. Taking the first step toward support can feel uncertain, but you don’t have to work through everything alone. I’m Maria Delgado-Saldana, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with five years of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges. I strive to create an open-minded, welcoming space where you can feel comfortable exploring your experiences, gaining perspective, and discovering new ways forward.

My approach to therapy

I believe meaningful change begins with curiosity, understanding, and a focus on what’s possible. My approach is inquisitive, collaborative, and solution-oriented. I want to understand not only what you’re experiencing, but also the relationships, experiences, and patterns that may be influencing how you feel today. I draw from approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-based therapy, trauma-focused approaches, and strength-based practices. Together, we’ll identify what matters most to you, build on your existing strengths, and develop practical strategies that support lasting growth.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity to get to know one another, talk about what brings you to therapy, and begin identifying the goals you’d like to work toward. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, listen to what feels most important to you, and learn what has or hasn’t worked in the past. From there, we’ll collaborate on a plan that reflects your needs and priorities. You can expect an open-minded, supportive environment where your perspective is valued and your progress is approached one step at a time. My goal is to help you gain greater self-understanding, develop effective coping tools, and feel more confident navigating life’s challenges.
