Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology. The reason I feel so passionate about my career is due to my older sister. I wish she could have received the services I provide to my clients. As a Therapist I collaborate with the client to find the solution , the story, and achieve the goal(s) to help the healing. I have been humbled to work with a very diverse and variety of clients over the years.

My approach to therapy

My approach is influenced from the postmodern and modern thought. I see clients from their reality. A client is free to express themselves without the fear of social constructivism. As we process through out the sessions, the hope is to discover strengths & deconstruct negative narratives. We will collaborate & apply therapeutic tools ( goals, etc.) & utilize therapeutic approaches from Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution Focus Therapy, Narrative Therapy, EMDR, Mindfulness, etc to help heal.

What you can expect from me

Clients will feel heard. No judgement. The reality of right and wrong will be determine by the client(s). The client will rate the status of the session. We will create goals together. In addition, talk therapy, other therapeutic tools such as music, drawing , meditation, behavior interventions, etc. will be used. Screenings will be administered if necessary. We will be utilizing rating scales ,etc. to determine success. We will definitely follow emergency steps incase the session requires it .
