Great to meet you!

I support adults dealing with anxiety, burnout/stress, and major life transitions—especially when overthinking or avoidance is keeping things stuck. I’m a LCAT with eight years of experience. I earned my Master’s in Art Therapy from NYU Steinhardt and have worked in inpatient, outpatient, and social service settings. My style is warm and engaged, with structure and clear goals—so therapy feels useful in real life, not just insightful. I integrate talk therapy with creative/experiential approaches when it’s a fit (always optional), especially when emotions are hard to put into words.

My approach to therapy

My approach is psychodynamic and humanistic, which means we’ll look at what you’re dealing with now and the deeper patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I’m client-centered and collaborative—meeting you where you are with compassion and honesty. We’ll move at a pace that feels safe, while also building practical tools you can use between sessions so therapy supports your real life, not just insight.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll talk about what’s bringing you in and what you want to feel different. I’ll ask thoughtful, focused questions to understand your current stressors, patterns (like anxiety, overthinking, avoidance), and what’s helped or not helped in the past. By the end, we’ll identify a few clear goals and a starting plan, which may include practical CBT/DBT-based tools you can use between sessions. Creative/experiential approaches are available if they’re helpful for you, but never required.
