Great to meet you!

Life can feel overwhelming when anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, or substance use challenges begin affecting your relationships, daily functioning, and overall well-being. You may feel emotionally exhausted, disconnected from yourself, struggling to cope with painful experiences, or unsure how to move forward. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief and loss, substance use concerns, stress management challenges, ADHD, anger management issues, cultural and ethnic identity concerns, and major life transitions. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them or overwhelmed by life's demands. Together, we'll create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where you can openly explore your experiences, identify your strengths, and develop healthier ways of coping. My goal is to help you gain insight, build resilience, and create meaningful changes that support healing, emotional wellness, and long-term personal growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized to your unique needs and goals. I believe therapy should provide both emotional support and practical tools that help create lasting change. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Strength-Based Therapy, and trauma-informed interventions to support healing and growth. In our work together, we may explore anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, substance use concerns, grief, anger management challenges, emotional regulation, stress management, ADHD, cultural identity experiences, and life transitions. Therapy is designed to help you identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, strengthen coping skills, improve emotional regulation, process difficult experiences, and develop healthier ways of navigating life's challenges. My goal is to help you create sustainable changes that support greater confidence, balance, and overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a warm, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you feel heard, respected, and valued. Building a strong therapeutic relationship is important to me, and I strive to create a space where you feel safe discussing difficult experiences while moving at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Together, we'll identify meaningful goals and develop practical strategies that support your growth and healing. Through therapy, you may experience reduced anxiety and stress, improved emotional regulation, stronger coping skills, increased self-awareness, greater resilience, and a deeper understanding of yourself and your needs. My goal is to help you feel empowered to overcome challenges, create meaningful change, and build a life that feels more peaceful, balanced, and fulfilling.
