Great to meet you!

Maria specializes in helping clients overcome trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship challenges, and family conflict, including supporting children navigating parental separation or divorce, using evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, CBT, sand tray, and play therapy. She works with children, teens, adults, and couples, helping them manage emotional overwhelm, navigate life transitions, and heal from past experiences.

Maria helps clients build coping skills, improve emotional regulation, strengthen relationships, and increase self-esteem—creating meaningful, lasting change. She recognizes how overwhelming life can feel when facing these challenges and provides a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can regain a sense of control and move forward toward a more fulfilling, meaningful life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. I draw from eclectic interventions to work closely with individuals, children, couples, and families to address complex challenges and promote lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a welcoming, supportive environment where they have the opportunity to share their concerns and begin telling their story at a pace that feels comfortable for them. During the first session, we will explore what brings you to therapy, discuss your goals, and begin identifying strengths and areas where you would like support. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where we can start building a plan that supports meaningful growth and healing.
