Hi/Hola, I am Maria E. Lizardi, a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in Florida and licensed Psychologist in Puerto Rico. I have been working in the mental health field since 2009 with children, teens, and adults. I have experience in Florida as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor and as a licensed Psychologist in Puerto Rico. As a bilingual counselor. An empathetic and supportive style creates a safe space for growth, healing, and self-discovery. I have a passion for empowering individuals to achieve mental wellness.

I incorporate various therapeutic techniques to tailor treatment to everyone’s uniqueness. I work with children, adolescents, and adults with warm support and a holistic perspective. Some of the therapeutic techniques are cognitive-behavioral, rational-emotive, humanistic approach, anger management, and parenting skills training. Specialize in depression, anxiety, panic attacks, ADHD, trauma, eating disorders, and parenting.
