Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome! My name is Maria Lopez and I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I work with people on an individual basis. If you're a young woman, teen, or parent feeling overwhelmed by stress, self-doubt, or emotional exhaustion; you’re not alone. Many of my clients come to me dealing with low self-esteem, anxious thoughts, past hurts, relationship struggles, or the intense pressures of parenting and life transitions. Together, we create a space where you can begin to heal, rediscover confidence, and move forward with clarity and self-compassion.

A bit about my approach to therapy

You deserve a space where you can grow into your best, most authentic self; and I’m here to support you every step of the way. In our work together, I take a compassionate, collaborative approach to help you navigate life’s challenges and reconnect with your inner strength. I tailor therapy to meet your unique needs, drawing from evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and using an Eclectic approach to support lasting change.

What you can expect from our first session

I like to take a collaborative approach, creating goals with you. After all, who knows you better than you? Together, we’ll explore your concerns, identify what you wish to work on, and outline steps to help you reach your goals. Goals are flexible and tailored to your needs. We’ll do check-ins and adjust your goals along the way as necessary.
