Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual Latina Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Fordham University and a Bachelor’s degree from Western Connecticut State University. I provide culturally responsive, client-centered care.

I have experience working with adolescents and adults across diverse settings, supporting concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, ADHD, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I also have experience working with individuals impacted by domestic violence and complex family dynamics.

I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who feel overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or challenged by patterns related to anxiety, trauma, and relationships. I have a particular focus on supporting women and multicultural clients navigating identity, cultural expectations, and boundary-setting.

As a Spanish-speaking therapist, I strive to create a space where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered within their cultural context.

My approach to therapy

My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, person-centered therapy, interpersonal therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques. I believe that therapy should be collaborative and culturally sensitive, meeting each client where they are and honoring their unique experiences and values.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel both hopeful and uncertain, and that’s completely okay. During our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other. I’ll invite you to share what’s been on your mind, what led you to seek support, and what you hope to gain from therapy. There’s no rush—you can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.

I’ll also explain how the therapy process works, answer any questions, and together we’ll begin to create a plan that fits your needs. My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling seen, supported, and encouraged about taking this important step toward healing and growth.
