Maria Lorio

Maria Lorio is a Licensed Professional Counselor and military veteran. She holds a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and has extensive experience providing individual and group therapy in Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) settings. Maria works with adult individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, life transitions, trauma-related disorders, and mood disorders.

Maria has a passion for serving others and is dedicated to the wellness and well-being of her clients. She believes in meeting clients where they're at, utilizing a variety of evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Maria tailors her approach to create a client-centered experience.
