Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience providing psychological and neuropsychological evaluations, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based treatment to children, adolescents, adults, and families. I earned my Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree and have worked across community mental health clinics, medical settings, and private practice. I specialize in trauma (EMDR), immigration-related psychological evaluations (VAWA, U-Visa, T-Visa, Hardship), mood and anxiety disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD, and culturally responsive care for Spanish-speaking and bilingual families.

As a bilingual clinician (English/Spanish), I strive to provide a safe, supportive, and culturally affirming space for clients from diverse backgrounds. My work is deeply grounded in compassion, respect, and helping individuals feel understood and empowered. I also have extensive experience supervising psychometrists and trainees, conducting complex assessments, and helping families navigate behavioral, educational, and systemic challenges.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed interventions (EMDR), mindfulness-based strategies, and attachment-focused frameworks. I believe that healing is best achieved when therapy honors the client’s lived experiences, cultural context, strengths, and goals.

I work alongside clients to help them build insight, develop healthier coping skills, strengthen emotional regulation, and create meaningful change. Whether addressing trauma, anxiety, depression, family conflict, or life transitions, I focus on helping clients feel safe, grounded, and supported as they move toward growth and resilience.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a welcoming and non-judgmental space where they can openly share what brings them to therapy. I typically begin by learning about your current concerns, goals, personal history, and any symptoms or stressors you may be experiencing. Together, we identify what you hope to gain from therapy and begin building a plan that fits your needs.

My goal is for you to feel heard, respected, and comfortable from the very beginning. The first session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, learn about the therapeutic process, and determine if we are a good fit. From there, we collaborate to establish a meaningful path forward based on your values, strengths, and unique experiences.
