Great to meet you!
For the past nine years, I have worked in community mental health, spending the last four to five years as a clinical supervisor training and mentoring new social workers and interns. Today I provide integrated behavioral health care alongside primary care physicians, which has given me the chance to work with an incredibly diverse range of patients: from young children through older adults, immigrant families, OB-GYN patients, and people navigating addiction and recovery. I am certified in PEPC trauma treatment and trained in Written Exposure Therapy, and I am currently completing my doctorate, with a dissertation focused on vicarious trauma among Latino pastors. My approach is grounded, culturally attuned, and rooted in years of hands-on clinical training experience.
